Vintage women's textured leather clutch bag from the 1920s, with a Deco buckle style dance strap. The real news though is in the flip up style of the clasp, which is a large 1 1/2" celluloid ball. The clasp is very unique! It does have some flaws. A little bit of corrosion, and the leather has pulled away from the frame on one side; the leather is worn off on corner. The lining is black faille. It has a floating frame snap close purse inside with a kid lined pocket. 

The design in the bag is where the value is. A good cobbler could bring this great vintage purse back to its original beauty.

It would make a stellar Downton Abbey or Great Gatsby Prop. Made in Germany.
